BT Magnesium Wheelchairs
The Lasher Sport Mg Magnesium line of wheelchairs are custom designed to be ultra lightweight while maintaining full functionality and performance. These highly customizable chairs utilize magnesium frame construction, billet aluminum frame caps, laminated carbon upholstery, Sun Zero G wheels and other lightweight components. Add it all up, and you have an Impossibly Light™ chair!
Magnesium is the lightest structural metal on the planet! It is roughly 35% lighter than aluminum and 62% lighter than titanium by volume, yet has tensile strength comparable to 6061-T6 aluminum. Magnesium alloys have some of the highest strength to weight ratios and boast up to ten times the vibration dampening capacity of other metals, making for a very smooth ride.
The BT-Mg is our lightest magnesium chair featuring a fixed (welded) axle and minimal adjustablility. This is a chair for the person who knows exactly what they want in their chair.
The BT-Mg-A offers an adjustable center of gravity that can be adjusted forward or backward in half inch increments by up to an inch.
The BT-Mg-AS has all wheel shock absorption and an adjustable center of gravity from 1" to 5" and is almost infinitely adjustable.
